Ayurveda packages are available for most illnesses and medical conditions at our Ayurvedic Centre in Sri Lanka. Guests will be under the care of resident physicians and visiting consultants affiliated to our Ayurveda Hospital in Mount Lavinia, just outside the commercial capital, Colombo.
All Ayurveda medicines stocked in the centre’s dispensary are manufactured to ISO standards in the Group’s factories in Colombo. Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort Wadduwa is a pioneering venture by the Siddhalepa Group’s Chairman, Deshabandu, Dr. Victor Hettigoda hailing from a generation of Ayurveda physicians. He is listed among the top 100 Ayurveda Physicians of the Century and 15 other physicians listed among this top 100 visit the Ayurveda Hospital and are also on call at the resort.
Featuring experienced Ayurveda doctors, consultants and therapists, our team of healthcare professionals offer the very best treatments at Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort Wadduwa.
The doctors and therapists who attend the resort have all been through a comprehensive training programme at the Siddhalepa Ayurveda Hospital, with 15 of them being amongst the “100 Best Ayurveda Physicians of the Century” selected by Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Health.

Hailing from a family of physicians with over a 200 year heritage in Ayurveda practice, Deshabandu, Dr. Victor Hettigoda the founder and Chairman of the Siddhalepa Group is an eminent Ayurveda kidney specialist physician and a successful entrepreneur and industrialist. He is also recognised as the “father of modern Ayurveda”.
His achievements in the field of Ayurveda medicine and his inspiring entrepreneurship have bestowed him the country’s highest honour of “Deshabandu”, a noble achievement. He has also won recognition as one of the “100 Best Ayurveda Physicians of the Century”.

On the first day the guest would have an initial consultation with our Ayurveda Physician which would be of about 30 minutes duration. During this consultation (“Prakurthi“), equillibrium and imbalances of the 3 Ayurveda “Doshas“ (Air “Vata“, Bile “Pitha“ and Phlem “Kapha“) of the individual is identified by the Ayurveda Physician. The Ayurveda Physician would prescribe a treatment procedure, a Diet based on the food values according to Ayurveda concepts, Yoga exercise regime and meditation to be followed by the guest.
Thereafter there would be a daily follow-up consultation of 10 minutes duration with our Ayurveda Physician who would decide whether to continue with the same treatments, alter the treatment duration, or to change the treatment methods.
There would be a minimum of 2 ½ hours of Ayurveda treatment per day and the treatments would consist of a combination of the following.

Cinnamon Grand is a luxurious 5 Star City Hotel located in the centre of Colombo with modern facilities like an adjoining shopping complex and commercial hubs like the World Trade Centre, National Museum and Iconic temples.

Belonging to the 16th century and being an old merchant’s house and left to deteriorate in the 1950’s, it has since been acquired by the luxury chain of hotels Teardrop and restored to it's old glamour and converted to a cosy 3 Star Hotel.
Complete with mosaic cement tiles and open outdoor spaces, the 18 bedroom colonial style boutique lodging also emanates a Middle Eastern contemporary feel. All rooms are light, airy and modern with four poster beds and appropriate lounge and dressing rooms with gorgeous views of the colonial fort. The Hotel has a separate identity as portrayed by their main restaurant for its contemporary feel and detailed cuisine which includes Middle Eastern, Fusion Sri Lankan and Modern favourites. The Fort Bazaar has plenty of outdoor spaces, settling you in with the amazing landscapes from in and around the Dutch Fort. When you need to relax, the upper floor has a well stocked library set up in an intimate setting overlooking the azure ocean.
The bar downstairs is well geared for an evening drink, or you can simply take a walk down the cobbled paths of the Fort.
The hotel has adopted a simple but well designed theme that blends in with its surrounding flora which looks and feels like a luxurious tree house. The Jungle Beach by Uga Escapes is a beach front hotel and is a luxurious one of it's kind. The site boasts a healthy mix of the jungle at the coast end and the azure blue ocean at the other end.

Facing the Madhu river, The River House is a five bedroom villa nestled among lush green flora and enjoys the soothing river breeze, truly living up to it's name.
Taking the hilly land to its advantage the gardens are designed as grasslands and the main house overlooks the river. The furnishings feel to the villa takes after traditional Asian simplicity whilst pieces of remade antique furniture offers a timeless theme.
Belonging to the Asia Leisure chain of hotels, the River House has five bedrooms all of which follows the same theme being tones of wood and red. All rooms are designed to give spectacular river views and furnished to match the same style as the rest of the house.
They are flexible in terms of the cuisine offered but are on the lines of local and western delicacies. Meal times are flexible too while there is always time to be sipping on a cocktail between meals or a plunge in the pool.
