Day 1

Arrival at Banadaranaike International Airport. You will be met by your Pearl Holidays UK Guide and be transferred to your hotel Jetwing Sea Negombo where you will receive a welcome drink. 

Your stay will be on a half board basis ( first nights' buffet dinner and buffet breakfast the next day).

You can spend the day at leisure, have a dip in the pool or enjoy the beach. 

You could enjoy the buffet Lunch at a supplementary charge. Please enquire at the hotel reception. If you would like Lunch to be included in your package rate, please let us know in advance when making your booking.

Day 2

After Breakfast you will leave Jetwing sea Negombo for Galle where you will check in to Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel, where you will stay on half board basis (first nights' buffet dinner and buffet breakfast the next day).

 You can spend the day at leisure, have a dip in the pool or enjoy the beach. You may also want to indulge in any of our beach Add on activities. You could even enjoy the buffet Lunch at a supplementary charge. Please enquire at the hotel reception. If you would like Lunch to be included in your package rate, please let us know in advance when making your booking.

In the evening, we've arranged a visit to  Kosgoda, a nearby fishing village to observe the famous stilt fishermen as the sun sets.

Day 3

 After Breakfast you will leave Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel and proceed to Bentota, where you will spend the day enjoying the following.

• Bentota River Boat Safari.
• Visit the Woodcraft Carving Gallery.
• Visit a turtle conservation Centre.

You will then be driven to a local restaurant where you can enjoy a typical Sri Lankan lunch with all the curries thrown in. Cost applies, please check the restaurant menu for prices. 

After lunch, you proceed back to bentota where you can enjoy the beach or indulge in any of our beach Add on activities.

You will then be driven back to your hotel where you can unwind and reflect on your day.

 Buffet Dinner will be served and is included in your package, but excludes bottled water and any other bottled or canned beverages (Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic).  

A River Cruise Dinner can be arranged on the Bentota River but would need to be mentioned in advance when making your booking with Pearl Holidays UK (An add on charge will apply).

Day 4

After Breakfast you will leave Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel to visit the ancient Galle Fort.

Here you will visit the ancient Galle Fort, a UNESCO certified world heritage site, followed by a short walk to the Galle Light House and clock tower where you can observe the ancient Galle Fort ramparts and prison built by the Dutch around the early 17th century.

Inside the Fort along tiny little streets, you will find plenty of boutique hotels and shops where you could do a spot of shopping. Galle is famous for Sri Lankan Gems and Jewellery along with handwoven items of clothing such as sarongs and shirts. You can also visit the Maritime Archeology Museum within the fort ramparts.

A legacy left behind by the British when Sri Lanka was colonized by them was Afternoon Tea. Here at the Galle fort you can enjoy a cuppa, and it's not just any cuppa.

A visit to the old Galle town is a must where you can observe old historical buildings that encompass old architecture.

You will then be driven back to your hotel where you can unwind and reflect on your day.

 In the evening, we've arranged a visit to  Kosgoda, a nearby fishing village to observe the famous stilt fishermen as the sun sets, whilst not forgetting a visit to the Turtle Hatchery Kosgoda is very well known for.

Day 5 

After Breakfast you will leave Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel and proceed to Yala, where you will check in to Cinnamon Wild Yala Hotel, where you will stay on half board basis (first nights' buffet Lunch and buffet Dinner). 

 You can spend the day at leisure, have a dip in the pool or enjoy the beach. You may also want to indulge in any of our beach Add on activities.

You could enjoy the buffet Lunch which is included in your package but excludes bottled water and any other bottled or canned beverages (Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic).

In the evening you will proceed to Yala National Park for an evening safari when it's cooler and most animals come out to the water holes to drink.

After your evening safari, you will be driven back to your hotel for you to unwind at your leisure.

  Buffet Dinner will be served  when you arrive back at your hotel and is included in your package, but excludes bottled water and any other bottled or canned beverages (Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic).

Day 6 

After Breakfast you will leave Cinnamon Wild Yala Hotel and proceed to Yala National Park for a half day Safari.

 Having enjoyed your safari the previous evening, you will now be ready to get an insight of the wildlife that missed your eye. Yala National Park is home to a number of exotic fauna and flora including but not limiting to Sri Lanka’s ‘big three’ – which includes the majestic Sri Lankan elephant, the elusive Sri Lankan leopard, and the charismatic Sloth Bear not forgetting Water buffalo, Crocodiles and a huge array of exotic birds. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will be given a  first hand insight into our local species and their habitat. For a more in depth  wildlife experience,  speak  to your guide who will be more than happy to take you in search of  bird trails.

 You will then be driven to a local restaurant where you can enjoy a typical Sri Lankan lunch of rice and curry. Cost applies, please check the restaurant menu for prices.

You will then be driven back to your hotel where you can spend the rest of the afternoon at Leisure. You may want to simply relax by the pool or beach.

You could also indulge in any of our beach Add on activities if you are still up to it.

 In the evening you will proceed to Kataragama where you will visit the famous Kataragama temple patronised by Sri Lankans of many faiths and have blessings bestowed upon you. You may make an offering of a fruit platter which will be placed at the alter as an offering to the Gods.

Please enquire with the hotel reception on the appropriate dress code when visiting the temple. Photography is  not allowed within the temple premises.  

  Back at the hotel you can unwind and enjoy a delicious Buffet Dinner which  is included in your package, but excludes bottled water and any other bottled or canned beverages (Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic).

  Day 7

After Breakfast you will leave Cinnamon Wild Yala Hotel and proceed to Ella, where you will check in to Ekho Ella Resort, where you will stay on half board basis (first nights' buffet Lunch and buffet Dinner). 

After having checked in and had a brief rest, you procced to visit the Ella Gap, Ella Rock, the Nine Arches Bridge and Adams peak.

 You will then be driven to a local restaurant where you can enjoy a late but typical Sri Lankan lunch of rice and curry. Cost applies, please check the restaurant menu for prices.    

 After lunch you will return back to your hotel where  you can unwind. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious Buffet Dinner which  is included in your package, but excludes bottled water and any other bottled or canned beverages (Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic).  

Overnight stay at  Ekho Ella Resort.  

Day 8

After Breakfast you will leave Ekho Ella Resort and proceed to Ella Train station where you can enjoy the famous train ride to Nuwara Eliya. You will be met by your Pearl Holidays UK representative at the Nanu Oya Train station in Nuwara Eliya, and  taken to your hotel. You will check in to St.Andrews Hotel Nuwara Eliya.

After Resting, you will proceed to view Lake Gregory, a Tea plantation & factory, Hakgala botanic gardens, Bamburu Ella water falls and Horton plains known as the world's end or lovers leap.

 You will then be driven to a local restaurant where you can enjoy a late but typical Sri Lankan lunch of rice and curry. Cost applies, please check the restaurant menu for prices. 

 After lunch you will return back to your hotel where  you can unwind by the pool or beach.  Overnight stay at  St.Andrews Hotel.

Day 9

After Breakfast you will leave St.Andrews Hotel and proceed to Kandy where you will check in to the Citadel Hotel by Cinnamon.

 After a short rest, you will proceed to view the Royal Botanical Gardens, Temple of the sacred tooth relic, The Ceylon Tea Museum,  Ranveli Spice Garden and the Sri Dalada Maligawa. 

You will then be driven to a local restaurant where you can enjoy a late but typical Sri Lankan lunch of rice and curry. Cost applies, please check the restaurant menu for prices. 

After lunch you will return back to your hotel where  you can unwind by the pool or beach. Day 10 

After Breakfast you will leave Citadel Hotel by Cinnamon and proceed to Habarana where you will check in to Cinnamon Lodge Habarana.

After a brief rest you will depart on a cultural tour of Sigiriya, the remnants of an ancient kingdom. It was a royal citadel for 18 years (477-495) when it was fortified by the then King Kasyapa. 

The architectural and irrigational technology introduced to Sigiriya, such as the Water Gardens, still have us all baffled. The climb to the top is via steep steps of metal with railings that pass a wall decorated with frescoes of bare-breasted women of that time.

 You will then proceed back to your hotel where you may enjoy a late buffet lunch which is included in your package, but excludes bottled or canned beverages (Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic).

You may spend the afternoon at leisure or by the pool or even engage in any one of our Add on activities. 

In the evening, you will be taken on safari to the Minneriya National Park, after which you will arrive back at Habarana Lodge to freshen up and enjoy a sumptuous Buffet Dinner which is included in your package, but excludes bottled or canned beverages (Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic).

Day 11 

After Breakfast you will leave Cinnamon Lodge Habarana for a cultural tour of  Dambulla.

Dambulla is a town situated in the Central Province of Sri Lanka and built around a vast isolated rock mass and is declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage City.

The  Dambulla rock temple is the largest and most painstakingly preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka and towers approximately 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. 

Major attractions are spread over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues depict Lord Buddha and his life.

There are a total of 153 Buddha statues, 

3 statues of Sri Lankan Kings and 4 statues of Gods and Goddesses, the latter four  being two statues each of Hindu Gods, Vishnu and Ganesh. 

  You will then proceed back to your hotel where you may enjoy a late buffet lunch which is included in your package, but excludes bottled or canned beverages (Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic).

You may spend the afternoon at leisure or by the pool or even engage in any one of our Add on activities.

Day 12 

After Breakfast you will leave Cinnamon Lodge Habarana  and travel to Dambulla. You will check into Jetwing Lake Dambulla and proceed on a cultural tour of Polonnaruwa.

 The second most ancient of Sri Lanka's kingdoms is Polonnaruwa and was first established by the Chola dynasty after their successful invasion of the country's then capital - Anuradhapura, in the 10th century.  It was during this period, that systematic destruction of the Buddhist civilisation took place in the northern parts  of Sri Lanka. The Ancient City of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

 Trade and agriculture flourished under the patronage of the famous grand son of king Vijayabahu I of Polonnaruwa, king Parakramabahu the great, who was so adamant that no drop of water falling from the heavens was to be wasted and was to be used toward the development of the land. 

You will visit the Archeological Museum, Rankoth Vihara, Gal Vihara and Lankathilaka Image House .

 You will then be driven to a local restaurant where you can enjoy a late but typical Sri Lankan lunch of rice and curry. Cost applies, please check the restaurant menu for prices.  

 After lunch you will return back to your hotel where  you can unwind by the pool or beach. You could also indulge in any of our beach Add on activities.

In the evening you will have a short safari tour of the Wasgamuwa National Park after which you will return to your hotel to enjoy a delicious Buffet Dinner which  is included in your package, but excludes bottled water and any other bottled or canned beverages (Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic).

Day 13 

After Breakfast you will leave Jetwing Lake Dambulla and proceed to the city of Colombo where you will check in to the Taj Samudra Hotel. 

  You can spend the morning at leisure, have a dip in the pool or take a walk down to the Galle Face Green which is just opposite the hotel, where you can absorb the glorious sun and sea breeze to your heart's content. The Green comes alive during the evenings and you can indulge in most types of Sri Lankan Street Food. 

You may also want to check out our Add on activities. Featured here are the  TUK TUK Safari Rides which  you can use to get you around Colombo. They are exciting to travel in and easy on the purse. Simply tell the driver what you would like to purchase or any particular type of food you would like to have and he will take you there. 

If taking a TUK TUK Safari Ride, we recommend you leave your hotel as early as possible to arrive back at the hotel in time for a delicious buffet Lunch which is included in your package but excludes bottled water and any other bottled or canned beverages (Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic).

Enjoy your afternoon at leisure or go out into the city and do some more shopping.

 In the evening you could either enjoy a scrumptious Dinner Buffet at the hotel  or venture out to the Galle Face Green where you can savour all types of Sri Lankan street food.

Day 14

After Breakfast you can indulge in some more shopping. Many of the shopping malls feature a range of food courts that cater to Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Korean, Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine for Lunch. 

Alternatively if you fancy awesome Crab, Jumbo Freshwater Lagoon Prawns and other Seafood, a visit to the famous Ministry of Crab will give you a crab fix you will never forget. You can then make it back to your hotel in time for a workout in the gym followed  by a swim in the pool with a few drinks.

 Enjoy your afternoon at leisure.

In the evening you could either enjoy a scrumptious Dinner Buffet at the hotel  or venture out to the Galle Face Green where you can savour all types of Sri Lankan street food. 

You can then proceed back to the hotel and after relaxing, enjoy a spot of night life in Colombo. TUK TUK Safari would be an ideal choice of transport where you enjoy Colombo at it's best. You could also check out the local night life like, Pubs, Night Clubs and Casinos.
