It is usual that you park your Tuk Tuk at your Guest House or Hotel, and you will be picked up by your guide, who will then take you on your tour. You will then be dropped back at your lodgings.

We provide quality, comfortable, and road worthy vehicles.
Comprehensive Insurance
We provide Fully Comprehensive Insurance for you and fellow passengers at no charge to you.
All our Tuk Tuks come with all-inclusive comprehensive insurance that provides protection for both yourself, other passengers with you in your Tuk Tuk and also other vehicles in the event of any damage. The Insurance policy also covers any personal injuries sustained by you, your passengers and third parties for treatment at local government hospitals. However, we strictly recommend getting your own Travel Insurance that covers instances requiring transportation to your country of residence for medical reasons, and also treatment in private hospitals whilst in Sri Lanka. This is unfortunately not covered by our insurance policy.
We provide you with the required Driving Licence.
Driving a Tuk Tuk in Sri Lanka, requires you to be in possession of a Sri Lankan Recognition Permit with the “3-wheel” endorsement.
We can obtain this on your behalf by using your International Driving Permit (IDP) if you have a Class B or C entitlement endorsed on it. As of 30 March 2025, the Automobile Association of Ceylon requires you to have an International Driving Permit (IDP) to process your Sri Lankan Recognition Permit. We advise you to obtain one prior to your departure to Sri Lanka.
You then pay a non-refundable fee of $45 per licence.
We will then send you an application form via email for you to fill out and submit it to us via the link provided in the email. A Confirmation email will then be sent to you confirming receipt of your form. We will then submit it to obtain your Sri Lanka Recognition Permit.
Please allow 2-3 days to process the application. Please send us details of where you would like it delivered to. If you have requested your Tuk Tuk to be delivered to you, we will send you your SRP along with the driver at the same time. A nominal charge will be applicable for this drop off service.

One of our Driving Instructors will teach you the ins and outs of driving a Tuk Tuk before handing you the keys.

Tuk Tuk Escapes DO NOT exercise any mileage limits on your travels.
Flexible Pickup and Drop off of your Tuk Tuk
We will drop off your Tuk Tuk anywhere in Sri Lanka, and pick it up after your holidays at a location designated by you. A nominal charge will apply for this service.
Travel Kit with useful Tips, Maps and useful information
We will provide you with useful Maps, Suggested Itineraries, and information on places of interest that you may like to visit absolutely FREE OF CHARGE.
First Aid Kit
We will include a First Aid kit in your Tuk Tuk in case of small nasty accidents. This is provided as standard and FREE OF CHARGE.
24/7 GPS Tracker
We understand that you are in a foreign country. We therefore include GPS tracking of your Tuk Tuk where ever you may be on the Island in case of a breakdown or emergency.
Low Refundable Deposit
We will retain a low deposit of $200 per Tuk Tuk, which is fully refundable when you return your Tuk Tuk at the end of your Tuk Tuk Rental holiday.
